Transcript Status field shows In Progress when marked Not Attended

Question

I would like to understand more about the transcript statuses. It appears that the statuses are Completed, Not Started, and In Progress.

If someone is Yet to Mark for an ILT course they appear as Not Started.

If someone is marked as Not Attended for a course they show as In Progress - shouldn't they show as Incomplete or Not Attended?

As per theory , a user show did not attend the session should be marked as failed/not attended.

But the current system design does pass any information for not attended.

I will pass the information to the product team and ask them to review the request.
