Using the After Effects rendering program my video comes out fine, but when I import to Media Encoder it renders the video dark. I have read some of the previous posts about similar issues, but none of the suggestions seem to work for me. Any other ideas to try?

Every time i launch encoder it crashes mid launch, usually around (unexpected error) Any Ideas?

HiI´m using ME to create some M2V files and compare them to an application , with FFMPEG as an encoder.The test is to compare to M2V files and see any diff from the two encoders, what could be a smart way?The specs that we specify don´t seem to match what I get i ME, when creating with these settings: a link to the two files to compare are here:https://we.tl/t-wisCa6bmMjthey are just not the same, but differs them, exapt bitrate.

I've made posts recently on exporting errors I've had using Premiere Pro, and I prematurely marked that issue as solved only for it to come back and others. When using the Media Encoder to export sequences from Premiere Pro, Media Encoder would either crash, the resulting footage would have offset clips (as described in a previous post), or the resulting footage would be flickering. This would all happen using Software Only. GPU Acceleration, however, does not work at all. The export will immediately fail and move on to the next sequence, only for it to fail again. Supposedly, this is not an issue with Premiere's sequence settings nor export settings, because the exact same settings work when using Media Encoder and GPU Acceleration on another computer. The difference is this other computer says "OpenCL" for GPU Acceleration. The problematic computer says "CUDA." This is the first time I've experienced issues like this in Media Encoder, and I'm not sure if the issue lies in M

I'm a freelance video-editor/animator that's hit a technical snag. I've been using Adobe Media Encoder to export my projects from both Premiere and After Effects every week and I usually never have a problem with it. The entire video only has 6 basic comp animations, and I normally render something like this in 8 minutes, but this video is taking so far... 50 minutes? I've stopped it a number of times because I thought it was so peculiar. I have exported a 14 second composition to AME and began rendering it in H.264 format at 1080p 50 frames, only to find when I woke up this morning that it has been going for 14 hours and has a remaining time of 129 hours.I am used to slow rendering but the sequence is nothing extremely difficult. It is a rotoscoped clip with some colour correction and an animated image of clouds behind, along with CC Particle World rainfall over the top. There are no cameras, lights, adjustment layers or anything I'd expect would make it so slow.This is an issue I've faced over my last few projects, where it has taken around 60 hours to render 18 seconds of footage which, in the end, was corrupted anyway.It also tends to crash at random points whilst actually editing the videos.i7-8550U8GB RAM

Has anyone figured out why Media Encoder 14 isn't working? It won't open, crashing part way through the process. All my apps are up to date, and here is my system info:This is a serious issue as I have 35 videos that need to be encoded by Thursday, and I don't really want  to do it one by one right out of Premiere Pro. Hi,Is it possible to automate a render pipeline that I have, prefferably without using GUI and even without Premier Pro, but rather just the AME?I want to automate the task of genrating time interpolated video using Optical Flow, from input videos or image sequences.I'm using PP 14.3.1 & AME 14.3.1. My currently manual flow:1. Load a video or image sequence to PP (if image sequence, load as a video)2. change in "Speed/Duration" the speed to 10%3. change "time interpolation" to optical flow4. export clip to AME with some custom preset (no audio, CBR etc.) and render I'll be happy to any help of how to approach this.Many thanks,Matan  

Hi. I have a Character Animator puppet dynamically linked to After Effects. This works in After Effects, but when I try to render it in Me, the puppet is just a bunch of coloured lines - like the link is broken. I've tried changing the output quality and making sure the frame rates match, but I still get the same result. I'm not doing anything differently to usual - except the Ch puppet is quite a lot more complicated than usual. But as I say, it works in Ae. Thanks. EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I was dragging the composition from Ae into Me, as it was  a quicker way of getting it in the queue, but when I went to Export, Add to Me queue, it worked.

everytime i render it fails to continue the render, its getting so frustrating.I tried uninstalling and installing media encoder and it worked but just for one render and it failed to render afterwards. Anyone faced the same issue?

I recently installed the latest Adobe CC 2019 on my Mac running Sierra OS.I am trying to do a simple file conversion of a QuickTime movie with the codec Apple ProRes 422, Linear PCM 24-bit little-endian signed integer, 16 channels, 48000 Hz.When I try to import it into Adobe Media Encoder, I get the following error.

Hello everyone,Since some time now my Media Encoder don't want to start anymore on my computer and I really need it to can render AE projects.When i try to launch it, the little launching square screen appear, loads for a few seconds and then disappear and nothing else happen. There is no error message, crash report etc... The software just don't open after the little square disappear. It also disappear from Tasks manager. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, downgrade it to older versions (i currently have both v14.0 and v13.1.5 installed), launch it with After Effect by directly import a composition, but always exactly the same thing happen... It seems to happen precisly on this computer since my laptop launch it, but I really need it on this one. Do someone have an idea why it happens? Thanks by advance!

hello all, I'm new both to the forum and After Effects, so thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2min:25sec animation in AE. I would like to render it out as H.264 mp4 but the file size is at best 38MB. I have dropped the bitrate to 2.5min 5max. I believe a colleague produced exactly the same file (different animation) and their final file is only 2.9MB ! Any tips on how to achieve this please? (the are almost exact same file, some different type)

I have a sequence in a Premiere Pro team project that contains an image sequence. I've gone through the export settings and queued the video in the media encoder render queue. I export the video, but the image sequence seems as though it's frozen on the first frame of the sequence.When I export from Premiere Pro, the image sequence renders properly. It's not a major problem but more of an annoyance. I should add this problem is happening with both of us, so we don't think it's machine specific. Both of us are working on Windows 10, 64 gb of ram with i9 processors.Premiere Pro version 14.3.1Media Encoder version 14.3.1 

 

Hi, I'm trying to render a very large video file from after effects (almost 2 hours long). I'm trying to render in H.264 using the preset "Match Source - High bitrate". Because the file is about 8GB and I'd be cutting it close with storage on my computer, I've set the output folder to an external USB Flashdrive. Every attempt the same faliure keeps occuring after roughly 2 hours of rendering... First the destination folder is filled with not just one, but two video files, the largest file (~4GB) is always an m4v file despite selecting H264. The second file is MP4 but extremely small in size... usually only ~200mb.  The ~200mb mp4 plays but there is no content at all, literally 2 hours of blackness. The large file has a strange number attached to the end of the file name "2596.279761", it comes up with an error when I try to play it (This file isn’t playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.)

Hi, Using AE 17.1.2 and Media Encoder 14.3.1Is just impossible to export through media encoder and is sincerely quite frustrating because it gets me stuck and I can't deliver my project to my client. Any solutions?

The rendering was working well but suddenly stopped.So i tried again, then nothing happened in the program. I need to reboot the laptop.Sometimes 'Out of memory' window pops up, but my labtop has enough memory more than 30GB. How can I fix this problem? (I tried Purge to erase all of the memory in AE.  program that I wanna render is After Effect.Also I don't thinks the graphic card has some problems, it's enough to render this.This never happened until last month.) Thanks.

I am trying to create proxies from some ProRes Raw footage and while doing so Media Encoder crashes within seconds of starting the process. I have tried doing the clips individually and in a queue, both with the same result.The footage was shot on a S1H with Atomos Ninja V. I am trying to create the proxies on a MBP Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB of Ram.Any sugestions?

I posted this in the Premiere Pro forum but nobody could answer it. This is the weirdest thing. When I export clips straight from premiere they export fine. When I batch export the same set of clips, they come out over saturated and high contrast.My settings are the same straight out of premiere and media encoder. Am I missing something? Two example screenshots attached.Any help would be great.Thanks.

AME 14.3.1 does NOT want to render my AE project. I had rendered something from Animate the day before and it was just fine. AME seems to be connecting ok, but once it shows that it's encoding, it freezes my MacBook and crashes. I have 16 GB of RAM, a 10th gen processor, and my MacBook is up to date, so I should be just fine for system requirements. I've tried multiple times and restarted my computer, still not working. Can I do anything?

Hello, I have made an edit on after effects and as the h.264 video codec is gone, I tried to use adobe media encoder. However, whenever I render it, it renders super quick and only exports one frame. I've tried changing the time code and the problem isn't after-effects as I was able to export the full video (by changing the timecode however not with h.264). I've updated the app but nothing is working
