when exporting a file with gen ai audio in any format except pro res the audio and video are seprate when export leaving me with a MP4 file and a aac

the pro res file even when put back into media encoder and re exported as a h.265/h.264 file will seperate the file into aac and mp4. this is incredibly frustrating when I need the files to be packaged together for my final product

I was not yet able to reproduce your issue.

On my MacBook Pro (M5 MPro, macOS 26.6.2), I just generated sound effects in Premiere Pro (Beta) 27.0.0.42 and exported the timeline as H.264 via direct export and export into Adobe Media Encoder (Beta) 27.0.0.41. The result in both cases was one single file that included the sound effect.

Are you on Mac or Win? Did you use the latest Betas? Can you provide your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory)? And which specific steps did you take?

Whether dealing with AI or non-AI video, I’ve tried several export methods, but the result is always the same: the video and audio files end up separated.

Try exporting using H.264 and Software Encoding. That worked—the video and audio were combined into a single file.

Which version or build are you using? Does this also happen with non-GenAI content?
