Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with using Adobe Scan.
I checked your email address registered on the community forums and saw an active subscription for Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat AI Assistant.
The Acrobat Pro subscription should also include the premium features for Adobe Scan.
I would suggest logging in to the web portal once: https://adobe.ly/4eJRxMc and checking if you are able to use the tools there.
If yes, you should check the email address through which you are logged in to the Adobe Scan application.
