Adobe scan App keep on crashing

Since last one month I am trying to scan my son's hand written comic book (200 pages) that also requires some cleanup and cropping. Spent countless hours so far! It's iPad 9th generation. App version 22.10.17

First I scanned the whole 200 pages and then did crop and did clean up on about 50 pages, tried to save and it runs for sometime, then crashes. I open app again, it just opens tries to upload file and crashes. Eventually I delete app, do it all over again and same happens.

Next time, I tried scanning 50 pages at once and save it as pdf without crop or clean up. The. I try to modify pdf to crop and edit and app crashes while saving. When open again, it shows doc uploading to cloud and  then crashes after 10 seconds.

I even tried installing app on iPhone, on a new iPad with factory reset, installed new adobe scan app, created all new account and same sequence of events happen. In my last try I was able to scan and cleanup first two chapters of 20 pages each and now app is crashing on 3rd chapter. If keeps on saying "uploading doc to cloud" and keep on crashing..HELP!
