Haven't deleted any files in Adobe Scan. Yet all files are missing from my app and cloud server. Cannot retrieve any files, as no files are available to be retrieved at Adobe.com. Kindly guide me in retrieving it if possible. Last 5 years data are lost.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble.

Your scanned documents might be missing due to app crashes, syncing issues, or because you are logged into a different account. To resolve this:

  • Ensure that you are logged into the same account on both Adobe Scan and Adobe cloud storage. Learn how to solve Adobe account sign-in issues.
  • Ensure correct account access when logging in with Apple ID.
When you hide your email when logging in with Apple ID, a masked address creates a separate account, leading to potential confusion. To avoid this, show your original email to link existing accounts, or remember your login choice.
  • Visit Adobe cloud storage and go to Documents > Scans to check if your documents are saved there.

Additionally, verify your Adobe cloud storage to ensure you haven’t exceeded the storage limit.

Hi,

I have tried all the steps guided and ensured both the account are of the same email ID. Yet I can’t see my missing file. visited Adobe Scan, Adobe Cloud storage and Adobe cloud storage. Can’t find any.

I have a Query.

  1. I have the links of all the PDF created to my mail. Yet I am unable to open those files.
  2. Can Adobe help me retrieving the lost files using these links? As I am unable to.
  3.  Does Adobe send a mail for such issues of lost data or restore data at the earliest possible?
  4. Is it retraceable
