Adobe Scan needs camera access

My Adobe Scan on my iPad will not take a picture of a document. When I open Adobe Scan, the capture screen is black and the take picture button does nothing. It says it needs to access the camera but when I turn it on it says no document found. I have gone to settings and selected Adobe Scan and the page says allow access to Siri and notifications but does not say to allow access to camera and photos and offers no way to add these. How do I fix this?

To know more about Adobe Scan you can refer to this help document: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/ios/en/scan.html#perform-quick-actions

@Alan21959616nt76 It seems your Scan app does not have access to the device camera. When you open your Scan app in capture mode, it asks you to allow access to the camera. If  you do not allow access from the app, you can go to your device settings to allow access, which you said you did. In settings, go to Adobe Scan and you should see a 'Camera' toggle button. You need to tap the button to slide it green. Once you do that, you can open the Scan app to capture your document.

Let us know if you somehow do not see the Camera toggle button.

@Alan21959616nt76 You may try an alternate way to allow camera access: Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera. All the app that requested camera access will be listed there. If you see Adobe Scan option, tap the toggle button to enable it. Hope it helps!
