Question

Adobe Scan never uploads to OneDrive on the first try

I use adobe scan to scan and upload my homework to my laptop for university, essential now that all my education is online. It's generally a smooth process, except that after I've scanned a document, when I go to "share a copy" and select my OneDrive, the first time it hangs and hangs and eventually I give up. But if I cancel the first upload, the second time I do it it goes quickly and without a hitch. Since uploading things is sometimes time sensitive, this means part of my process is now to start an upload, immediately cancel it, and then upload it again, and this always works. It doesn't seem to matter whether the app has finished processing the pdf or not when I do this, and it doesn't seem to matter what kind of connection my phone has when this happens. Is this a common bug? Is there a way this could be fixed internally? Hell if starting over seems to make all the difference could you have the app cancel itself and restart the upload under the hood so I don't have to do it? Weirdly small bug in an otherwise perfectly functional app, but it seems like it could be a simple fix so I'd love it if someone could help me with this.

I experience the same problem, although intermittently, and it has persisted over recent updates.
