adobe scan not sending scans to my email

I recently installed ios 14.1.0. Among the problems is that Adobe Scan does not send my emails. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have rebooted my iphone. I have sent emails successfully in Oulook to myself from my iphone and from two different email accounts. But the Adobe Scan will not send out emails. Can someone please help? 

In the past, I have used this app frequently and it has always worked well.
