Adobe Scan on Android does not work on Galaxy S10+

Yesterday from my Google account I have downloaded, today registered for account in Document Cloud.

Some PDF files viewed in Adobe Reader and copyied to Document Cloud.

Selected one of the files in the Document Cloud. Then in submenu chosen  "Scan".

Adobe Scan takes over, works for a time, ends by saying to click on the screen in order to scan from the camera. The main window then shows: "No scans".

I am very unhappy
