Adobe Scan taking 5 or more minutes to save each scan

I am using Adobe Scan (iOS) with archival documents. It is taking a really long time to save each scan and is also slow to capture the images. Do I need to compress the files I have saves already (there are a lot) or delete them in order to make it work better? If I delete a scan from the app it also deletes it from my Adobe Acrobat Documents cloud storage. Can I delete things from my phone but still keep them in cloud storage???

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

 

Would you mind letting us know the application version of Adobe Scan you are using (Profile-> About Adobe Scan)

 

Also, to confirm, do you have multiple scans (1000+) stored in your cloud storage (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/) in the Adobe Scan folder?

I am using version 23.04.20. The scans are not numbered but I think I have 175-180 scans. Many are longer though (100 or so pages). Adobe documents say that I am using 13.1 of 100 GB. I have found that the whole app has slowed down, with everything I do taking longer. Saving scans is by far the worst though.
