Question

All my Adobe Android scans have disappeared from within my Scan app within the past two hours. HELP!

I have used the  Adobe Scan Android app  for well over one year with no problems. I'm sure I have hundreds of scans  that were viewable within my Android app. What could be the cause of all my scanned documents disappearing from my Android app? Can I still locate those documents using my computer?

    Hi Indie_Maven,

     

    Sorry for the delay in response.

     

    As you have mentioned above, all the scanned documents are not appearing in the Adobe Scan application.

    Please make sure that you are signed-in to the application using the same Adobe ID (email address). 

    When you scan the document in Adobe Scan and save it to PDF, the scanned PDF saves in the Document Cloud by default.

    You can check the files in the Document Cloud account. Use the steps provided below:

    - Open this link https://Documentcloud.adobe.com

    - Sign in using the same Adobe ID that you have used for the Adobe Scan application.

    - Go to Files  >  Adobe Scan folder.

    Check if you can find your scanned PDFs there.

    Adobe support led me to the documentcloud link, and I located my "lost" files, which concluded my panic mode. However, the documents remained Missing In Action until a few days later when they miraculously reappeared. The cause of their disappearance and reappearance from the Adobe Scan Android app remains a non sequitur to me.
