Arabic OCR

WHY there is no Arabic OCR.

I have a lot of difficulties to manage scaned documents with arabic content.

Arabic OCR will be very helpful

    In this manner i had an issue related to Arabic OCR where i could not have a very good solution until i contacted a very specialised team in Arabic OCR and Digitization in general, they are located in Qatar and they were able to advise and solve my issue, you can contact them, their company name is : Dar Al-raqmana

      Dear Ibrahim,

      Indeed, Arab users need to use an alternative solutions for the time being till Adobe add Arabic support to the existing OCR feature. I for one uses an OCR solution from Sakhr, it works well for me.

      We have all been requesting Adobe to add Arabic to the supported languages in Acrobat's OCR.

      Luckily, Adobe is now considering to add Arabic to the list but we aren't certain how long should we wait to see OCR supports Arabic.

      Check this voting page, and also notice that Adobe recently say this feature is under review.
