Blurry scans

Hi everyone,

I am on an iPhone 6s and running iOS 14. Since about a week ago, all of my scans render blurry text. The app has always worked great for me, but now the text is illegible. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi

Hope you are doing well.

Thank you for posting your query here. Please help me with few details to understand your issue better.

  1. Application version?
  2. Are you getting clear pictures using the default camera application?

If a scanned image appears distorted or blurry, try these solutions:

  1. Make sure you are on the latest Scan version and try to reboot your system once.
  2. Make sure your original is not wrinkled or warped. This may prevent the original from laying flat on the scanner glass.
  3. Do not move your original or your product during scanning.
  4. Your product will not operate properly while tilted at an angle. Place your product on a flat, stable surface that extends beyond its base in all directions.

Let us know how it works at your end. If you have any further queries please feel free to reach out to us.

I am having the same issue for several months. Images are fine when taken with my regular camera. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I also upgraded my phone recently and have the same problem

Hi @Tommy33134084yyp3,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Adobe Scan (go to Home-> Profile-> About Adobe Scan);

2. The OS [Android/iOS] and its version of your device;

3. The screen recording of the situation for better understanding.

Look forward to hearing from you.
