    Same.

Adobe Scan immediately closes and returns to the Home Screen every time I try to open it. The app does not reach the main interface.

    Device: iPad 7th generation
    iPadOS: 18.7.10
    Available storage: approximately 6.5 GB

    Troubleshooting already completed:

    • Restarted iPad multiple times
    • Confirmed iPadOS is current
    • Confirmed no Adobe Scan update is available in the App Store
    • Deleted Adobe Scan and reinstalled it
    • Confirmed sufficient free storage

The problem persists after a clean reinstall.

I am able to use the scan app on my iPhone 17 pro, current iOS 27.0.1, same Adobe login credentials

I found other Adobe Community reports describing the same immediate-launch crash on 7th-generation iPads running iPadOS 18.7.10, so this appears to be a reproducible compatibility issue with the current Adobe Scan release.

Thanks for the detailed response. I’ll provide the iPhone/iPad model and current iOS version, along with more information about what happens when I try to edit the scans. I’ll also check whether the issue affects all scans, including newly created ones, and share those details here.

    Hi @Olivier285888107gjy

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out and for sharing the screenshot. I'm sorry that you can't edit your scans since the update, and thank you for already trying to sign out and sign in again.

To help us look into this, could you please share:

    • Your iPhone or iPad model and the iOS version are now installed.

    • Exactly what happens when you try to edit a scan: which option is missing, greyed out, or not responding, and whether you see any message.

    • Whether this affects all of your scans or only some, including a scan you create now.

    • A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for further investigation.

We are here for help, just need more information.

    Regards,
    Amal
