Confidentiality of Mobile Adobe Scan

I am looking for a scanning app that is safe to scan confidential information like birth certificates, taxes and income information.

Does anyone know if Adobe Scan is secure?

After a document is scanned, where is it stored? Is it secure? Confidential?

Is the mobile app HIPPA compliant?
