Documents appear in a square shape

Question

For some reason on my regular cameras phone documents appear as a regular rectangular piece of paper. However, when I go into adobe scan, when I put my camera on the same document the document is a square and not a rectangle. Because of this, it does not produce good pictures. It was working fine when I first got the app and now the pictures I take look slightly morphed. Can anyone help me with this issue?

To do so, could you please help us answer some questions? What Android device do you have? What is the Android version on your device? (System Setting > About phone > Software information > Android version)What is the version number of Adobe Scan installed on your device? (From Adobe Scan, tap on three horizontal line icon on top left, then choose About Adobe Scan.)Is your device camera or any other camera app working properly? (ie. Showing camera preview and you can take a photo.)When you say "square," is the aspect ratio messed up, or does it cut off part of the document?Once the picture is taken and you navigate to Review screen via photo thumbnail, is the document displayed in proper size/aspect ratio?
