Email Problem

I was scanning and sending documents, and in the middle of a batch, Adobe Scan suddenly lost the ability to send a link for my scan through email. Every time I click on share and then choose email, I get the following error message: "Error generatinglink: There was an error while generating link."

 

I tried opening and closing the app multiple times and powering my phone off and on.

Are you still experiencing issues in sending scans via email?

If yes, please let us know what happens when you try to send the scanned PDF as an email attachment? Do you get any error messages?

Share the application and OS version with us. Also, let us know the exact workflow you do to send the scans.

Latest Adobe Scan Version for iOS: 21.05.11

I've just tried it and it works! I've not tried it for a while (since I had the issue) so it might have been working sooner but glad it's good now!

I am also getting this message. Error generating this Link. It appears every time I attempt to send myself the scan. It started to appear yesterday. I restated my phone (iPhone 11 pro), updated the iOS, deleted and reinstalled the Adobe scan app and then waited for today to try it again. Still same message. Please advise. Thank you.

We are sorry, you're having difficulties. Please help me with few details to understand your issue better. 

  1. Make and model of your device? 
  2. Application version? 
  3. OS version?
       

We did try to replicate the behavior on our end, however, it is working fine. Make sure your application is updated. Do save your work then try to sign out and sign in back. Reboot your device. 
For Android Adobe Scan Version: 21.03.22 

For iOS Adobe Scan Version: 21.04.06

I am having the same issues. Scanning items and sending to email. Now since about 11 last night won't allow me to access email. iPhone is what I have. Please advise.
