Files not syncing in two devices using same account

I have scanned few files in my wife's mobile app last week and now trying to access then from my mobile by logging into her accoujt from my mobile today. Though I can see the list of all files, when I click to edit them, it's simply showing as "downloading" but not helping me to edit those doc's and add few pages to it.  This is much needed for me. Kindly help me with a solution if something is already in place.
