When I scan, the app freezes. Can someone help me?

    Hi there,

    Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that the app is freezing while scanning.

    We need some ore information for a better understanding of the issue:

    • Which device are you using (Android or iOS)?
    • What version of the app are you on?
    • Does the app freeze immediately when opening the camera, or after capturing the scan?
       

    Please try the steps listed below and see if that works:

    • Completely close the app and reopen it. A quick device restart can also help clear temporary glitches.
    • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app from the Play Store/App Store.
    • Clear cache (Android only): Go to Settings > Apps > Adobe Scan > Storage > Clear Cache.
    • Ensure the app has full access to your camera.
       

    IIf it still doesn’t work, please share:

    • A screen recording (if possible)
    • Exact steps where the freeze happens


    That will help us investigate this further.

    Hello, thanks for answer.

    1) Device android.

    2) version 26.03.04 Google dynamic

    3) The app freeze after 6 or 7 pages.

    4) Only can solucionate the problem if I reset Android.

    @Carles Crescenti Hi there, have you tried the steps suggested in my previous rsponse. 

    • Check if disabling WhatsApp pop-up notifications (temporarily) changes the behavior
    • Ensure Adobe Scan has all required permissions (camera, storage, etc.)

    Also, go through the steps shared in the help page https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/android/en/settings.html
