Has anything been done about the cloud only for the document scan?

Has anything been done about the app scan going only to the cloud?  I'm not a real big fan of this cloud only option because (to be honest) these companies seem to have a crap record of securing things like this.  Also this cloud only option seems to be a bit out of touch with the customer base.  I never got asked what I would prefer?  I also wonder why the change when the old way was working perfectly fine.

Sorry for the delay in response.

Currently, in Adobe Scan application, you can save scanned PDF only in Document Cloud.
