help printing in letter/legal doc. combination

Hello. I'm using Adobe Scan+Reader to scan document sets that include both letter & legal sized paper...it appears (by looking at the pics of the scans) that the two different sizes have been captured, but when I emailed it to myself to do a practice download/print test, the documents only come out on letter-sized paper (& I know my dual-tray printer works bc Brother spent a LONG time getting it so)...please help, I need this remedied this weekend!
