Question

how to access adobe document cloud from scan app

My understanding is that when we save as pdf using adobe scan app it goes to Adobe Document Cloud prior to being able to send it to a Gdrive or dropbox.  How can I delete documents saved in the cloud.  If I can't do this, is there a way to make the cloud HIPAA compliant using the scan app.  This is for a professional medical business.  Thank you.

Hi Farah,

Yes, that is correct. When you save as PDF using the Adobe Scan, it saves the PDF file in Adobe Document Cloud.

As you wish to delete the files from the Document Cloud after you send them to Google Drive or Dropbox, it can be done directly from the application.

Please refer to the steps mentioned below:

- Open the Adobe Scan application

- Exit the scan mode by tapping on X icon at the top left of the screen.

- Go to All scans

- Tap on the file that you wish to delete. The file will open.

- Then click on the trash icon at the bottom right of the screen.

- The file will be deleted from the Adobe Scan application and from the Document Cloud.

You may also delete multiple files at once.

- Long press on a file to select it.

- Tap on all the files you wish to delete

- Click on Trash ion at the top right corner of the screen.

You may also delete the files directly from Document Cloud. Refer to the steps provided below:

- Open this link Adobe Document Cloud

- Sign in with the same Adobe ID (email address) and password that you use for your Adobe Scan application.

- Go to Files > Adobe Scan folder

- Select the files from the list.

- In the preview window at extreme right, you will find the delete option at the bottom.

You may also refer to this help document Getting started — Adobe Scan Help for more details.

Hope that the information helps.
