iOS Login Federated IDs

We have pushed the Adobe Scan app to our faculty and student iPads while we are eLearning due to school closures.  All faculty and students have Federated IDs in our Admin console.  When logging in on iOS devices, users are prompted with an error that they do not have permission to Adobe Document Cloud and cannot continue further into the app.  If the same user logs in with an Android device they can log in, scan, and share documents.

We currently only have device licenses vs named licenses and cannot assign Adobe Document Cloud permissions to users.  Is there a way to bypass the Adobe Document Cloud permission on iOS devices?  Our end goal is for students and faculty to be able to scan to their local device and share either with email or with our LMS.

Hello - Thanks for reaching out. Can you please confirm that you are using the exact same ID on iOS and Android? It sounds like you have CC Enterprise configured id's. The intent with these Id's is that the enterprise can explicitly provision which Adobe services their users have access to. My understanding is that there isn't currently a free tier of Document Cloud services that enterprises can provision for those accounts, so our expectation would be that these accounts shouldn't work for iOS or Android. One possible explanation (and potential workaround) is that your Android user is using a different, (not federated) free-level Adobe ID for Scan Android. Users should be able to create separate (not enterprise) accounts that are provisioned for the free level of DC services (which include Adobe Scan). Unfortunately these accounts won't be manageable for you and will be independent from the enterprise accounts that you have provisioned.

I can confirm that I am using the same account for both Android and iOS.  The account is a Federated ID part of our shared device plan (K12 school).
