IPhone 14 update required

Adobe Scan no longer focuses on subjects less than 40 centimetres from the cameras. Most likely because it fails to utilise all three cameras of the iPhone 14 pro.  This makes is hard to create a good scan from ID cards.

This problem has existed as long as the iPhone 14 pro was released and no update has resolved this problem yet.

Will this issue ever be resolved?

    This is a second attempt since your mail server does not accept the 10Mb photo’s that were included. Let me try a single photo instead...

    Hi @Johan-M,

     

    Sorry for the trouble, and thank you for sharing the information.

     

    I would request you to log in to the platform and attach the image files as the mailing server would not attach the images as attachment here along with your reply.

    I will try to upload the photos as requested. However, the complaint should be easily reproducible. So please, don’t let this stop you from looking into the issue and finding a solution.

    Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for me to highlight to the dev team:

    1. The app version of Adobe Scan you currently use (go to Home-> Profile-> About Adobe Scan);

    2. The iOS version your device is on;

    3. A sample screen recording of how the camera goes out of focus.
