Question

iPhone 15 Pro blurry pictures

On my iPhone 15 Pro, the Adobe Scan app often (almost always) takes blurry pictures while scanning. I'm attaching one such picture, the text is unreadable. I've tried all kinds of settings, I think there might be a problem with the camera settings and the app's developer settings.

I don't experience this problem with other scanning apps. I also don't experience this problem on other types of phones where I use Adobe Scan.

I experience the same problem with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I also used my previous iPhone 12 to scan with the Adobe app, and it worked perfectly. The scans were clear. Now, with my new phone, the scans are blurry and useless. Hoping this issue will be fixed.

@balázs_5902 have you check the camera lens? On my phone, my lenses always get smudge marks...and I am always cleaning the lenses before I take a photo or scan! Check yours!

Thank you for your answer! The lenses are completely clean, so there must be something else going on in the background, because the iPhone's own scanner takes good pictures (I just don't like its user interface). Anyway, before this was my phone, there was no problem with the Adobe app either.

@balázs_5902 ok, try this, update iOS and Adobe Scan to the latest versions, make sure Adobe Scan has Camera permission, fully quit and relaunch the app (or restart the phone), try holding the phone slightly farther back (about 25 cm) so the camera can focus correctly, and if that doesn’t work reinstall the app or check for any third‑party camera-setting apps that might interfere
