iPhone 15 Pro Max - Won't focus on small documents

I've been using Adobe Scan on my iPhone 11 Pro Max for several years with no issues.  When I want to scan a small document (e.g. 2" x 2"), I just hold the phone close to the document and all the fine print comes out crystal clear.  With the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, when I hold it close the image doesn't focus.  If I hold it far away (e.g. 12") to achieve focus, then manually zoom in on the screen, I can get a clean image but the text is fuzzy because its at the limit of the camera resolution (the text is only 1 or 2 mm high).  I've noticed that when just using the camera app by itself to take a picture of the same document, the camera appears to change lenses and a tulip icon appears in the lower left corner of the screen.  Is there a way for Adobe Scan to do the same?

I have the same issue with my new iphone 15 pro. the app will not focus on any documents.  the previously posted replies advised that  the fix would be live this month, which we are well into. any news on when this will be?  I am paying for a subscription, but the app is useless for new scans at the moment.

I am having the same issue on iPhone 14 Pro Max, so I need to use SwiftScan instead.

I am having the same issue, won't focus on an id scan in the adobe scan ios app. I'm using a 14 pro max

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

 

Our team is aware of the issue, and a bug has already been logged. 

I will add the PDF to the ticket for the team to see it as a reference.

 

I will update the thread once the fix is live.
