Is there a limit to the total number of scans?

My students use Adobe Scan to upload handwritten documents.  Today, one of them failed to upload because they reported the message "you have reached the limit on your scans."  Is there a limit?  If not, what mistake could the student have made?  FYI this was a 2-page document

Hi DKM13,

 

In the latest version, you can scan more than 25 pages at a time and save it to PDF. However, the text recognition will not work on that file. If you need the text to be recognized, you will need to create PDF of less than 25 pages.
