Is there a possibility to mute the shutter sound?

Although the system sounds are muted on my LeTV LeMax2 you still hear the shutter sound when taking a scan picture. Is there a way to mute it separately?

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for using Adobe Scan! We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

    We have inspected your issue, and unfortunately camera shutter sound is not controlled by our app, but is influenced by the system (device)’s default setting.

    Upon closer inspection, we do notice that this problem happens with many third-party apps on some devices. This seems to be an issue from device manufacture's side that is yet to be resolved. Some articles from forums we found are as follows:

    This is still an issue. Is there a UserVoice for Scan? This is clearly a feature request, not a corrupted app install or any other troubleshooting issue. There is no way to mute the shutter sound (at least on Samsung phones), mine just went off during a speaker at a conference. No bueno. Not cool.

    Hello,

    Sorry as there is no direct option to mute the shutter sound in the Adobe Scan application.

    However, the shutter sound can be disabled with the device sound option.

    As you are using the Samsung phone, you can mute the system sound on your device.

    Go to phone's Settings > Sound and Vibration > Volume > System.

    Hi Maria,

    Could you try disabling shutter sounds by going into camera settings and check if that helps? Below is a screenshot of the option available on my Android device:

    Thanks for your answer, Adorobat. The shutter sound is already separately muted in the camera app. But Adobe Scan still makes a sound...

    On my galaxy s8 edge i was able to mute scan sounds by putting my phone in silent mode.

    Thanks for your answer, Brisco66. But there is no silent mode on my phone. And when I set the phone to mute it works for everything else but the shutter sound of Adobe Scan...
