Loss of scans when saving them to pdf Adobe Scan in Iphone

I took several pages of scans. Then it was saved to pdf, but nothing shows me that the application has no scan. Is there any way to restore the scans? I was signed in. Thank you.

Same problem here, made 2 scans, edited the images, modified the file names, hit save, then the app shows NO SCANS, there is no way to find the documents. Hope someone from adobe reviews these posts.

Hi All,

As you are still experiencing the issue after the recent update, would you please help us with some details as asked below:

- Share the exact version of the Adobe Scan installed on your device

- Share the OS version on the device

- It would be helpful if you can capture the workflow on your device when the issue occurs. Then share those screenshots or videos of that workflow with us.

To share the screenshot, use the steps provided below:

- Click on the insert image or insert video icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

- An Insert Image window will appear.

- Then click on Insert Image and browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

- Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

Similarly, use the insert video icon next to the insert image icon in the reply window.

We will be waiting for your response.

I have used adobe scan for over a year now and I never had an issue. I broke my iPhone 10+ so I had to order a replacement. i downloaded adobe scan again and this same problem is happening to me. Very frustrated and disappointed. Will cancel this subscription and try Microsoft Office Lense, mentioned above.

Hi All,

There was an update released recently for the Adobe Scan application in the App store.

Please try once to update the application to the latest version available that is 19.05.14

Check if the issue persists after updating the application.

Let us know how it goes.

Nope still does not work for that matter it won’t even let you log in now

After updating to IOS 12.3 the app would silently not save PDFs. Recent and All Scans were empty. I force closed the app and used Microsoft Office Lens to accomplish my task. Looked here for solution. Re-opened app and it forced me to log back in to my adobe account. Now it seems to work again. The SERIOUS problem is that it silently didn't save the PDF! I get it when things don't work right with authentication or IOS upgrades. However for an app to not confirm something was saved properly is unforgivable. I won't trust it every again.

Also having the same problem. I take a pic and try to save to PDF and it’s nowhere to be found. And all other scans I’ve ever made are no longer in the app. The file folder is empty.

After scanning files and saving them in .pdf there are nowhere to be found on IPhone 10X. I also have sighned out and deleted and Intalled fresh copy were Now I am not able to log in using adobe I’d to adobe as is claiming I have no internet connection. But when I choose to login using google it takes me to new screen with login and no internet issues.

Having the same issue, please advise as to what we need to do to fix.

Hello,

As you have mentioned above that no PDFs found after saving the scanned image, could you please confirm if you can view other PDFs under the All Scans.

Please try once to re-install the application. Make sure that you first sign out from the application and then uninstall it.

Check if that helps.

Is there a solution posted?  I’m having the same issue...no .pdf found after saving image.  I’m using iPhone 10+.

Sorry for the trouble caused.

If the scans are not saved to PDF, then it is not possible to restore them.

Could you please provide us more details about what exactly happened when you try to save the scans to PDF?

Did you get any error message?

What is the current version of the application installed on your device?

Also, let us know the OS version on the device.

We will be waiting for your response.
