missing scans

Hello! I logged into my account for the first time on my new phone and none of my scans after december of 2020 are there. Fall of 2020 until last month I used the same phone, I didn't change any settings or anything changing how scans should have stored, and only the ones I can view currently show up in my cloud.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get those scans back?? 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

I hope you're great and sorry for the issue you're experiencing.

 

As per my understanding, you lost the files from the application and need help in restoring the documents. Please check if you're logging in from the correct profile.

 

However, Adobe Scan saves the documents as PDF in the Adobe Document Cloud. You may check your saved files over here: -  


Note: If you're not uploading the files to Adobe Document Cloud or saving them to any other location, the files will be deleted permanently. 

It isn't possible to retrieve the files once deleted directly from the application.

Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

 

We would like to have some more information to dig into the issue:

  1. Have you checked the different accounts you might have used with Scan (Sign in with Adobe versus social sign-in)?
  2. Which platform do you experience the issue with? Scan Android, Scan iOS, DC web? 
  3. Are all the scanned files missing, or only some files? 
  4. When did the issue start, any details about any actions taken then?
  5. Scan app build version, device model, and OS version.

 

Please share the above answers so we can speed up the investigation process.
