    Hi @youthful_skill1310

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry that your scans and folders are missing, especially since they include your bills and other important documents.

Scanned documents can seem to be missing because of a sync issue, an app crash, or because you are signed in to a different account than the one you used to scan. To check this:

    • Make sure you are signed in to the same account in Adobe Scan and in Adobe cloud storage. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, a masked address creates a separate account, so sign in again and choose to share your original email to link to your existing account.

    • Sign in to Adobe cloud storage on a computer or web browser with the same account and check whether your scans are saved there under Documents > Scans.

    • Check that your Adobe cloud storage is not full, as that can affect saving and syncing.

For more information, you can refer to this help page: Adobe Scan FAQ.

To help protect your future scans, you can also set up a 3-layer backup in Adobe Scan (Android and iPhone):

    1. Save original images: on Android, go to Profile > Preferences > Save original images to Gallery. On iPhone, go to Profile > Preferences > Save originals to Photos. This applies to new scans created after you turn it on.

    2. Save as JPEG: open your scan and use Save as JPEG from the file card or overflow menu. Each page is saved to your device gallery as a JPEG.

    3. Keep the PDF in Adobe cloud storage: when you save a scan, Adobe Scan saves it as a PDF there, so sign in with your Adobe account to keep the cloud copy available.

The full guide is here: Never lose a scan again, create a 3-layer backup.

    Hope this information will help

    Regards,

    Amal
