Not capturing images in Adobe Scan

I tried re installing the app but the capture button won't work or respond.

Device- Redmi Note 9 Pro

Thank you for using Adobe Scan and for reaching out to us. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you, and we would troubleshoot the issue further with you. To do so, could you please help us answer some questions?
 
  1. What is the Android version on your device? (System Setting > About phone > Software information > Android version)
  2. What is the version number of Adobe Scan installed on your device? (From Adobe Scan, tap on three horizontal line icon on top left, then choose About Adobe Scan.)
  3. Is your device camera or any other camera app working properly? (ie. Showing camera preview and you can take a photo.)
  4. Have you tried restarting your phone?
  5. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Scan?
  6. Does auto-capture (let Adobe Scan take picture automatically) work?
  7. What if you switch to manual mode? https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/adobescan/android/en/scan.html#scanning-quick-steps You can toggle Auto-capture mode on and off.
