OCR editing in Adobe Scan

Hi,

I realize this isn't an Adobe Scan forum but I asked the question there and got no response, so I'm hoping someone can here.

I am a Creative Cloud user. I know that Acrobat DC can recognize and edit text. So here's my question:

I'm a new user of Adobe Scan. I can scan document. The program says it is "recognizing text." But after that I see no way, Adobe Scan, to edit the text.

Is there a way? or must you send it to Adobe Acrobat DC and have it recognize and edit text there?
