Organized scans in CC and now App does not work

Hi there,

I have been scanning documents using Adobe Scan. I organized the documents into different folders in the CC on my computer, and ever since, the Adobe Scan app is not working on my iphone. It keeps crashing and not opening. I undid all the changes in the CC and the Scan app is still now working on my phone. It keeps crashing.

How can I fix this?

Hi debakd,

As per the issue description mentioned above, adobe scan app is not working on your iphone after you have organized documents into different folders in CC on your computer, is that correct?

Could you share more info on "CC on your computer" you are referring to?

Is there any error message when app is crashing?

Also, let us know dot version of scan app and iOS version installed on the device? You may refer to the steps given in the following help document for the same: Troubleshooting — Acrobat Reader Mobile App

Thanks for the reply, Shivam. The CC-on my computer I was referring to, is the Document Cloud. When the app on my phone crashes, there is no error message. I just freezes after a scan and doesn't save and then crashes. When I reopen it, the same thing repeats itself.

Hi debakd,

Thanks for the info. I tried replicating the issue (with moving/renaming a scanned document in adobe reader> document cloud> adobe scan folder on desktop) but the issue was not reproducible. You may try logging out/logging into the application and check if that works. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the app and check if that helps.
