Problems going to image folders in Adobe Scan

I can't go to my image folders anymore. It used to be very simple, you went to Photos as a source, and from there you selected "Folders" and went to whichever you chose. Now that option is gone. And it takes forever to load all the photos.

Before this change I'd create a folder with the imagesI wanted and it was aesy to select them. No more.

Why? Can you please bring back that option?
