Refund request of incorrect charge.

Hello Adobe Community Team,

I am writing to report an incorrect charge applied to my account during a free trial subscription.

I signed up for the monthly Adobe Premium services free trial and approved the Google Pay auto-pay mandate with the understanding that the amount would be charged only after the free trial period ends, i.e., next month.

However, to my surprise, an amount of ₹890 was deducted immediately from my Google Pay account right after activating the free trial. This is incorrect and does not align with the terms of a free trial subscription.

I clearly opted for a free trial, and no upfront payment should have been deducted at this stage. I request Adobe to:

1. Investigate this issue at the earliest

2. Refund the incorrectly charged amount of ₹890

3. Clarify why the charge was applied despite selecting a free trial plan

Please let me know if any additional details are required from my side to resolve this issue.

Hi @,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

The free trial for Adobe Scan Premium is only available if you opt for the yearly subscription model, not the monthly one.

Thus, you were charged immediately post-purchase.

To learn more about the cancellation and refund process/policy, please refer to the help article https://adobe.ly/4p0ystx and see if it addresses your needs.

Regards,
Souvik.
