Scan preview fine, link via email shows text hole

Scanned 2 pages of a document via Adobe pdf scam app, looks perfect..

sent a link to it via email to myself, I open up and there's a gap showing vs text ... what is going on?

this is on my iPhone, will check to see if similar problem at desktop , otherwise if anyone has an answer I would appreciate it !
