Scans before November are gone (except 1)?

Have been using Adobe Scan almost weekly since May. No issues until today. It seems that all of my scans prior to this month are gone except for one scan from May, 2025, which is when I started using the app.

 

Updated the app. No change. Logged on to the web browser and there are no other files. Could someone please help?

Hi there!

If your scans were synced to your Adobe account, you can try signing in to https://adobe.ly/47z8lnn or opening the Adobe Scan or Acrobat app on another device using the same Adobe ID to check if the files appear there. Sometimes, a temporary sync issue or app cache problem can make files seem missing even though they’re still stored in the cloud.

 

If the scans don’t show up online or in the app, please confirm that you’re signed in with the same Adobe ID used previously and see if that helps.

Missing files can occur for several reasons, including accidental deletion or syncing issues with cloud storage. Sometimes, files may not appear because they were saved under a different account or folder. Additionally, if an application crashes or malfunctions, it can lead to lost data.

Thank you!

 

I checked my account and there should have been plenty of storage. All files appeared to have been saved and synced (verified before closing app). All accessible until today. Scans were always broken into small 1-2 page scans with reliable internet. I have toggled to switch on to backing up originals. Is there any way to recover what has been lost between May and this week?
