Scans taken from book appears with different size - Adobe Scan

Hi. I took some pictures of a book from my Iphone x and I imported to adobe scan. So when I check the scanned pictures ,the pictures are in different sizes.It can fit in A4 but some pages are like zoomed. I tried to print it. Nothing got changed. If anyone knows a solution I really appreciate. Please leave a comment. Thank you!!

Hi Shironp,

 

As you have mentioned above, all the pages that you scan appears with a different size in Adobe Scan application.

Does it occur with particular scanned file?

Could you please share the screenshot of the pages to understand the issue better?

Also, share the application and OS version on your Iphone.

 

 

Please make sure that when you scan the pages, it should be done from the same distance from the book.

Also, when you save the scan, you get the option to crop the pages as required. Check if that helps.

Hi Shironp

After your scan, choose "Crop" and then click "Uncrop". Then your picture alters to your original picture.

    Hi,

     

    When a user takes photo, it cannot be possible to always take from same distance everytime. Suggestion, pictures should be zoomed in/out based on page-size & make it uniform.

      Hi @Rohit370387710ogn,

       

      Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

       

      Once you capture the images, you can use the Auto-Crop feature on the modify window to set the boundaries on all the pages. Once that's done, you can then set the page size to a default for the scan so all the pages are aligned in a single size.
