I have the same issue.
even if you delete the Scans in the app (or on adobe acrobat website) the app on the iPhone still uses all the data of the memory / storage of the iPhone.

the only solution that helped was to delete the app und reinstall.
but the problem starts then again.

Where does the iPhone "save" the files?
after 1-2 month the storage use is again at 3GB.
All files in the app are deleted.

Hi @Hannes274236246l38 @Marcel27437246wtq4,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

Adobe Scan, like any other application, stores caches of your previous usage within the internal storage folders of the scans you have made. This helps the application provide a seamless experience the next time you launch it and try to open any file.

Trying to save this space, as per iOS's settings, would need you to delete the application and then reinstall it.

*Note: Deleting the application would remove any scanned data not uploaded to Adobe Cloud Storage.

Hope this answers your question

Hello @S. S

thank you for your answer and help.

I understand your points but my question then is:

Why is it possible to "delete" the scans in the app?

Is it only to delete them in the online cloud?

Because deleting the scans in the app does not effect the used iphone storage.

It is still around 3GBs after deleting the scans in the app.

So the only solution is to delete the app after a while to clean the iphone storage?

Thank you
