Hi,

 

This seems like a performance issue. I would like to know few details in order to help you precisely.

1. What is the version of your OS?

2. Which Mobile device are you using? (device model)

3. What is the type of document you are trying to scan? (form, contact, simple document, whiteboard)

4. What is the version of your Adobe Scan application? Use the steps below to check: 

1. Open the app and log in. 
2. Tap dismiss the capture screen.
3. Tap settings reside under Preferences and About Adobe Scan.

You can also try to log out and log in back again. If that doesn't work look for an update of the application in the play store.
