What is full screen mode on my iPhone 16 pro plus

I get "Please switch the app the full screen mode to use the camera" every time I try to scan something. It started a few days ago. Before then the app worked flawlessly. I use this app for scanning all day every day. I'm having to use another phone currently and that is a pain.
Can anyone help? I've searched every setting, both the app and the phone., unable to find anything that looks remotely similar to this. HELP!

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in, and sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

Please try the steps below:

Go to System Settings-> Display & Brightness-> scroll down to locate "Zoom Settings"-> change it to large and switch back to "default"-> press done.

Check using Adobe Scan again once this is done.
