Why can’t I combine?

I have the pro version of scan. When I press combine nothing happens. What's going wrong?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.

When you click on Combine files, what do you see? A screenshot or a screen recording would help.

I tried using the option on my end, and it worked fine.

Would like to know more about the issue to investigate better.
