Won’t scan white background

Hi, when trying to scan pages for drama work, the scans used to come out white and easy to print, now they are coming out sort of greyish and you can see the print from the other side of the page.

pelase help! I want them to be like the first pic please

From the attached images, the first screenshot looks like a filter has been applied, while the second screenshot is the raw file taken from the camera.

 

Would you mind clicking on Modify Scan, clicking on filters, and using Light or Auto Color?
