Can't create guides in some documents

It seems like i can't create guides in a new document i am working right now.
Opening older documents works fine, but after the latest update i can't create any new guides on new documents.

My operations systems is Windows 10, will all the latest updates.

    Try right clicking on an artboard and selecting Guides > Show All Guides.

      Thanks for reaching out. I tested this on the latest version of XD and Windows 10 and was able to create the guides so could you please share a small video of what exactly is happening at your end?
