Can we only select objects if completely enclosed by mouse selection?

Hello there! I am a GUI developer and new to using XD, currently working on my first project. One thing is driving me nuts, and I can't find a solution on the internet:

If I want to select multiple objects by clicking and dragging the translucent mouse selection area over them, XD always selects all objects that the mouse selection somehow touches. But often times, I only want to select objects if they are fully enclosed within the mouse selection area. Now I know that I can use CTRL to select singular objects/layers within a group and SHIFT to add or remove from a selection, but is there any modifier shortcut to achieve the above, without having to unselect all unwanted objects afterwards?

This is really driving me nuts, especially since I am used to having this 'select only if fully enclosed by mouse selection area' in other tools...

Cheers!

It appears that there's a feature request for selecting only what is completely enclosed in marquee selection on the Adobe XD Uservoice site:

You might upvote it and add your comments there for the Product Team to see.
