Quick Question about creating a standalone kiosk application
Years ago, I used to develop interactive media in Adobe Flash. I generally published the content as executable files. Since then, I have generally just done the UI design and worked with a developer in QML. I am now at a new company, and have been taked with creating an interactive touchscreen application for a trade show. I am wondering if Adobe XD might be a solution for this. Can I do the following:
1) publish a local presentation that doesn't require access to the Internet, or the installation of Adobe XD?
2) can this prototype be run full-screen, with no visible window or browser controls?
3) If I simply don't provide access to the keyboard, will this provide a reasonable level of security so we can allow booth visitors to interact with the presentation without worrying if they'll change the presentation mode or otherwise screw things up?
4) can I safely allow users to play back local video files?
If the answer to any of those questions is "no", please share any suggestions you might have as to another prototyping / presentation tool I might consider to build this interactive presentation.
