17.5 camera hotkey 1,2,3 not working

I just installed the 17.5.1 version of ae and tried the new camera controll. The shortcut 1,2,3 doesn't work at all. I allready reseted the preferences. The combination of alt and left- middle and right mouse does work. What could that be? German language version. Any hints?

Same here. Tapping or holding those keys does nothing. They're not listed in the shortcuts panel. Just in the tooltips for the 3 new camera icons.

I know it's been a long time since this thread, but wanted to chime in that it doesn't work for me either. Has anyone found the fix?
