Has anyone else had results like these? Simple comp of CG passes out of C4D. Rendered 1920x1080 25FPS ACESCG 32bit exr.

AE 2021 RENDERING TIME 2MIN 37SEC

AE 2022 Multi frame RENDERING TIME 3MIN 20SEC

Windows 10, 128GB RAM, 3xRTX3090 GPUs, Ryzen 5090X 32thread CPU.

Effects used:

OpenColorIO

Exposure

Curves

Camera Lens Blur

Optical Flares

Extractor

RSMB

Remove Grain

FL Depth Of Field

Add grain

uni.RGB Seperation

Perhaps just an effects not supported issue?

I'm having a similar issue specifically with rendering to EXR files.  If I render to ProRes the performance is about 5-10x faster.

Hi martinc13962311,

Thanks for writing in.

What are the details of the footage you're using? If possible, could you share a project file (including media) with us to test? Here's how: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hey Nishu, good to hear from you.

Here is a Wetransfer link: https://we.tl/t-CjD81CdmL6

This was just a test of using AE for ACES colour comps and the new multicore rendering.

For now we will stick with 2021.

Cheers
